Corn really is King of the American food chain! You will be amazed at how corn is stuffed into most of the products at fast food restaurants. KING CORN takes you on the humorous adventure that two college friends (Ian Cheney and Curt Ellis) embark on when they decide to grow an acre of corn. With the help of some farmers and government aid they get their corn moving info the food chain.

It will surprise you to see what makes one of the most common food items in America today, HFC. KING CORN is very eye opening and holds no punches at any time explaining why corn is everywhere and in many, many foods.

I would recommend KING CORN as a good first film to watch if you want to start understanding how our foods have become so compromised and sold out to large corporations. This is a safe kids movie and will not show anything gross. My only downside of KING CORN is that there are a couple of slow parts in the film.

Film Rating: A (for straight to the point content).
