Sprouts are a tasty and nutritious addition to any meal (or snack), anytime of the day. I love, and so does the rest of the family, tiny little radish sprouts served over cottage cheese….Mmmm! they’re so good. I know what your thinking though….. Sprouting, that’s just too difficult and time consuming for me…I don’t think I can do it. Well I am here to tell you, YES you can! I was once where you are…thinking it was just too difficult. But, I stepped out and gave it a go. And it really wasn’t hard at all, you will see this for yourself once you give it a try,

Cocoa-Coated Almonds *

Long ago I used to love the Emerald Cocoa Roasted Almonds, but cannot eat them anymore as they are not soaked and they contain Splenda (sucralose). I experimented a little and came up with this recipe that uses raw almonds (that are soaked & dried) and stevia powder to sweeten. So they are healing diet approved, meaning you can have them even if you are on a sugar restricted diet (which most of us should try to avoid sugar anyway). These cocoa almonds are so delicious and good for you and make an excellent snack, or addition to homemade trail mix.

Honey-Roasted Cashews

In fact two handfuls of cashews have the same therapeutic value as a dose of Prozac. Read more about that in this article: Cashews, Depression, & Other Health Disorders, in our Tips, Tricks, & Information page. These honey-roasted cashews are made with all natural healthy ingredients, including raw honey. They are super easy to make and taste wonderful….you won’t want to stop eating them.
