Artificial Sweeteners + Vitamins = Healthy?

Everyone is getting on the health bandwagon these days and the artificial sweetener companies don’t want to be left out. Enter Splenda Essentials with its new health-supporting product, which actually may be more closely linked to common household bleach than to health.

Chlorine Is Nature’s Doberman Attack Dog

What are we talking about? Splenda, also known by the name “sucralose”, which is at its root a chlorinated sugar, also known as a chlorocarbon. Because the body does not see sucralose as sugar it does not use it as a caloric food. In other words it becomes zero calories. GREAT we all say, let’s just eat it, and let it pass through, harmless… right!? According to biochemist James Bowen, MD, it may just be more than that. Splenda/sucralose is simply chlorinated sugar; a chlorocarbon. Common chlorocarbons include carbon tetrachloride, trichlorethelene and methylene chloride, all deadly. Chlorine is nature’s Doberman attack dog, a highly excitable, ferocious atomic element employed as a biocide in bleach, disinfectants, insecticide, WWI poison gas and hydrochloric acid.” We are familiar with other chlorocarbons such has DDT, so harmful that it is banned for agricultural use around the world.

Splenda Essentials is a new product that appears to be focused on health conscious people like you and I. It is being sold in 3 different forms as containing B vitamins, C and E vitamins (antioxidants) and fiber. You can buy the splenda essentials product that fits your needs.

Incompatible With Normal Human Metabolic Functioning

Splenda Essentials with B vitamins is advertised as saying it, “helps to support a healthy metabolism with a small boost of vitamins B1, B5, B6 in every packet.” The amount of B vitamins added is low when compared to the daily needed amounts. Sad to say I am sure there will be some consumers that purchase this product thinking they are making a healthy choice. Dr. Bowen explains more about chlorocarbons, “…chlorocarbons are never nutritionally compatible with our metabolic processes and are wholly incompatible with normal human metabolic functioning.”

Effective Insecticides And Preservative

The antioxidant version of Splenda Essentials mentions in its text copy that it contains, “…antioxidant vitamins C and E, like those found in fruits and vegetables.” The issue here is not the vitamins but the problems associated with Splenda/sucralose. “…chlorocarbons such as sucralose deliver chlorine directly into our cells through normal metabolization. This makes them effective insecticides and preservatives. Preservatives must kill anything alive to prevent bacterial decomposition.” as stated by Dr. Bowen.

Damages Liver and Internal Organs

People are understanding the importance of fiber in their daily diet and Splenda Essentials offers a fiber version. In each serving of this product you get 1 gram of fiber. Adults need 25 grams of fiber daily minimally, so this product would require large amounts to be ingested to make any impact on the amount needed daily. Dr. Bowen explains how ingested chlorocarbon damage continues with the formation of other toxins: “Any chlorocarbons not directly excreted from the body intact can cause immense damage to the processes of human metabolism and, eventually, our internal organs. The liver is a detoxification organ which deals with ingested poisons. Chlorocarbons damage the hepatocytes, the liver’s metabolic cells, and destroy them.”

There are many issues with artificial sweeteners with great amounts of testing showing, swollen livers, calcified kidneys, immune function damage, cancer, and birth defects. Sadly the Govt agencies set in place to protect our food system have ignored the warnings of even its own scientists.

What is overly sad is how the consumer has been fooled by the companies making these products as to their health claims. Even the name of the product “sucralose”, is a play on the natural name of sugar, “sucrose”. This often misleads people into thinking this is a natural product at its core. These products should not be in any healthy diet, as they are toxic and a cover up for healthy eating habits. I have to admit they sure did make the packaging look inviting… Who though a toxic poison could look so good???
