Lime Basmati Rice

This rice compliments many dishes very well. It goes great with fish, chicken, or try it with some cooked black beans on top….yum! You will find many uses for this lime seasoned rice.

  • 2 cups chicken broth (can use water, but chicken broth makes the rice much more flavorful)
  • 3/4 cup brown basmati rice
  • 2 to 3 Tablespoons Lime Juice
  • unrefined sea salt, to taste

In a 2-quart sauce pan add rice and chicken broth, bring to a boil over medium heat. Cover and reduce heat, simmer for 40 minutes, until rice is tender.

Season with lime juice and sea salt, to taste.

Serves 4.
